Community Family Fun Day Pcinic & Kites4Cancer Fundraiser

This is the 6th Annual year for the Community Family Fun Day Picnic & the Kites4Cancer Fundraiser. It is a day filled with entertainment, food and games that allow us all to revisit some of the pastimes that we tend to enjoy.
 
Due to the response of this event the organization decided to take the opportunity to raise funds for one of the issues that affects us all hence Kites4Cancer was initiated.
 
The money raised is donated to The Ottawa Hospital Foundation to assist in the research to find a cure for this disease. Attendees can order a kite in advance or on the day of the event, they can collect pledges or simply donate to the Foundation.
 
During the last few years of this event we have been blessed to have talent individuals such as, Dube Brothers, Dianne White, Eman the Warrior, Anthony, the Senior Stars from Chartwell along with many other local artists who generously donate their time to entertain attendees.
