Graduate students who incorporate a substantial portion of a copyrighted work or a complete copyrighted work into their theses must have permission to do so. Adapting a work requires permission as well. This session will explain when copyright permission is needed, how to get permission, how to find free resources, the details of the Copyright Act and its fair dealing provision, and more. Remember, use it fairly - keep it legal.
