Course Description:
Participants receive classroom based instruction on the assessment and control of general workplace hazards. We provide comprehensive overviews of the methods of hazard identification and assessment. This includes the provision of tools required to implement an effect method of hazard management/control.
Purpose:
Training in Hazard Assessment and Control is beneficial to employees at all organizational levels, as it aides in the reduction of workplace injuries and incidents. Protection of the employee and the client is of the utmost importance.

Exercises:
Throughout the workshop, you will be challenged to think analytically and abstractly regarding potential workplace hazards. In this way we hope to help you make this course personal to your situation and thus, facilitate the application of Hazard Assessment and Control mechanisms.
Train the Trainer:
For the second half of the course, participants present material to the facilitator, who provides feedback. The presentation strengths will be highlighted to encourage those who may not have had prior facilitation experience. This allows the participant to confidently deliver the material to co-workers.
