In this practical session, participants will learn simple principles and steps they can use to build constructive and collaborative working relationships with teachers and instructional aides. The Presenter This session will be presented by Kathryn Burke, founder and editor of LDExperience.ca. Kathryn is anaccomplished education advocate and part time Executive Director of the Learning Disabilities Association of Alberta. Aconsultant and health care executive turned education advocate, Kathryn is the parent of a high school student with exceptional learning needs. She is the author of the bestselling book,An Accidental Advocate. She frequently appears on television and radio, commentingon special education reform and theneeds of students with exceptionalities.
