The Comedy of Errors

Fun, mix-ups, confusion, farce and slapstick abound in The Comedy of Errors, Shakespeare's first comedy and the Bard's shortest play. The Annapolis Shakespeare Company's production is set in zany, steampunk 1890s Paris and given a time-travel twist. The action centers on two sets of identical twins, each accidentally separated at birth and thought long-lost. The quest to reunite finds them enduring a chain of mistaken identities and a series of hilarious encounters, resulting in one wacky, magical comedy. Sally Boyett-D'Angelo directs.
