Zack Hamilton's Family Dream Day

On Saturday, June 25th 2011, Family Dream Day in support of Zack’s Dream room will honor the life of Zack Hamilton (September 21, 2007 to March 10, 2011).
 
The Hamilton Family (Heather, Paul, Ty and Jayden) along with family and friends are hosting this awesome family day to celebrate the life of Zack.
 
The Magen Boys will help create the perfect family fun day with a silent auction, sweet treats, raffle, dance competitions, bouncy castles, face painting, petting zoo, pony rides and swag bags. Lunch and refreshments will be available for sale, along with vendors, and incredible prizes to be won all in Support of Zack's Dream Room at York Central Hospital!
 
The York Central Hospital is dedicating a room to Zack with his favorite character – Elmo. Proceeds from ticket sales for this event helped achieve the $25,000 goal and now the proceeds will continue to support York Central and the new renovations in the Pediatric unit by providing two new cribs ($5000 each), new equipment, parents supplies, arts and craft cupboard and décor for the 5 remaining rooms.
 
About Zack Hamilton- September 21, 2007- March 10, 2011
Zack was born in September 2007 with a congenital heart defect known as Total Anomalous Pulmonary Venous Drainage (TAPVD). At two and a half weeks old, Zack underwent a procedure to repair his heart. Zack’s survival at that time was the first of many miracles in his life. Zack also had several other anomalies, including hearing loss, global developmental delay, feeding issues, a gastrostomy tube (G-Tube), seizures, and fluid in the brain. Though he had no official overall diagnosis, the genetics team discovered Zack had a deletion on the 12th chromosome. This deletion is the first recorded case in the world, making Zack a very special and unique little guy.
